TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Business Information

1.1. Mac Handyman is a sole trader business operating in Corby, United Kingdom.

1.2. Services are provided by an individual (hereinafter referred to as "Mac Handyman") and are offered subject to these Terms and Conditions.

1.3. Mac Handyman holds public liability insurance, ensuring the provision of reliable and honest handyman services.

2. Services

2.1. Mac Handyman provides the following services:

* Flat-pack furniture assembly

* Picture hanging

* Shelving

* Minor plumbing (e.g., tap replacements, leak fixes)

* Painting rooms

* General maintenance (excluding wall repairs/fitting)

* Minor electrical work

2.2. All work will be performed directly by Mac Handyman; no subcontracting will be undertaken.

3. Service Area

3.1. Mac Handyman's primary service area is Corby and its immediate surrounding areas.

3.2. Services outside of Corby may be provided at Mac Handyman's discretion, subject to additional travel charges. Any such charges will be communicated and agreed upon with the Client prior to the commencement of work.

4. Quotes & Fees

4.1. Remote estimates provided via WhatsApp, email, or submission of photographs are provided free of charge.

4.2. Mac Handyman may provide an in-person quote visit at the Client's request, for which a fee of £25 will be charged. This fee will be deducted from the final invoice amount if the Client accepts the quote and Mac Handyman is subsequently engaged to perform the work.

4.3. The final price for the services will be agreed upon with the Client before any work commences.

5. Payment Terms

5.1. Accepted payment methods are:

* Cash

* Bank transfer (Monzo bank)

* Debit/Credit Card (if accepted via mobile payment terminal)

5.2. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is due in full upon completion of the services.

6. Work Guarantee

6.1. Mac Handyman warrants that all work will be carried out with reasonable care and skill, and to a standard expected of a competent handyman.

6.2. In the event of any defects or issues arising from the services provided, the Client shall notify Mac Handyman in writing within 14 days of the completion of the work. Mac Handyman will then make reasonable efforts to rectify the issue.

7. Liability

7.1. Mac Handyman holds public liability insurance to cover damages arising directly from the negligence of Mac Handyman.

7.2. Mac Handyman shall not be liable for:

* Any indirect or consequential losses incurred by the Client.

* Any faults or issues arising from pre-existing conditions unrelated to the services provided.

* Any damage caused by the Client's failure to provide safe and clear access to the work area.

8. Client Responsibilities

8.1. The Client shall ensure that the work area is safe, accessible, and free from obstructions.

9. Cancellation Policy

9.1. The Client may cancel or reschedule an appointment without incurring a cancellation fee. However, the Client is requested to provide at least 24 hours' notice of any cancellation or rescheduling where reasonably practicable.
